If he does that...he will definitely be finished.  I would expect to see him possibly suiting up in an NBA uni next season or the one after that.  He'll just retire and never play again.  What a fleshpop.

If that means the end of the endless TO Media orgy, I'm all for it.

Retire, already!  Give the Eagles the cap room, and watch their Super Bowl victory on TV while sitting on Drew's lap, waiting for your invitation to the NBDL.

Hey, i totally agree.  I mean, how can he not just come in and play.  He's in the top five for WR salaries.  He got traded for a low draft pick and brandon whiting.  C'mon dude...play this 2nd year and then maybe the Eagles would've talked.  Now, he's screwed himself.  He can retire and sit out...his circus is old now.

According to a piece in this morning's Delcto Times, it is the EAGLE PLAYERS who want Owens to apologize. Maybe he don't have as many teammates as he thought watching his back:

I still want to know what Vai thought there was to gain by reporting that.  Here are the possible outcomes:

A) It was false all along, and Vai looks like a... local sports guy trying too hard.
B) T.O./Drew learn their plan has been leaked, so T.O. decides to wait to push the boundaries until another time.
