Eckel is on WIP...

TO is practicing..he was the last player out to the field at 0844. He came out about 30 seconds after Andy Reid and Butch.

Eckel speculates that he thinks they had the meeting before and that TO came out afterwards...because him and Andy were the last two people out.

He said TO had a huge smile on his face and this is the first time he's seen him smile like that.

"By now, you know what we're going to do here.  We're going to expect you to re-join your team and be the difference-maker on offense that you were last year.  We are absolutely not going to to renegotiate your deal until next off-season.  If you go out there and prove to us and the rest of the league that your on-field talent still far outweighs all this mess you've caused up until now off the field, you are are either going to get your big-ass roster bonus from us next year or an even bigger signing bonus somewhere else.  So, how about you go out there and do what's best for Terrell Owens and what's best for the Philadelphia Eagles, and get yourself a Super Bowl ring and about three and a half mill in the process... I would say they told him he'd have to get out there and earn it this season, though.  If he continues to be truculent (sp?) towards his teammates (and especially his QB), he's not going to see that roster bonus or ANY lump sum of money that large or larger for the rest of his NFL career.

You know what amazes me and yet it shouldn't? The fact that ESPN, the "worldwide" leader in sports still thinks that TO went to the Bahamas.

He was joking and the fact that he landed and did an interview at ATL's airport should have given those queers at Cold Pizza a clue.
