Didn't Spadaro also say last season Owens was an impossibility ?

He's in the dark as much as we are.  :-D

He's not the only one saying this. Its an impossibility to do either.

ice grillin you

exactly right

which is why YOU should have said he wont be cut or traded...by prefacing the comment with 'spadaro said it' does not give it more credibility and might even give it less

If you guys don't find this entertaining you are all nuts! With all the crap going on when it comes to crunch time Owens, McNabb and Andy will all get along in the name of winning a championship.

Owens loves the spotlight and will act outrageous, much like Dennis Rodman. Did Rodman win championships and lead the league in rebounding by a large margin? This is all fun. Just sit back and laugh.

That's my attitude with all of this....

As MURP mentioned earlier, we were watching a "recap" of yesterday on CSN sportsrise and we were laughing our asses off.

Quote from Reid:

"I'll work it out with T.O."

QuoteREID: I'LL WORK IT OUT WITH T.O.
August 11, 2005
By DAVE SPADARO

BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- Following Thursday morning's practice, head coach Andy Reid said that he did send home wide receiver Terrell Owens until next Wednesday, August 17th.

Reid said that it was an "in-house" dispute that led to Owens being sent home.

"I did send him home. He's expected to return next Wednesday," Reid said. "It's in-house business and it's going to stay in-house. I'll work it out with T.O. I'm not going to sit here and turn it into a bash session."

Owens had missed five practices in the last six days with an inflammed groin muscle. Owens did do some light running and catching with trainer Chris Peduzzi on a separate practice field Wednesday morning.

Reid said that he "OK'd" the workout, but Owens was still a day or two from returning to practice.

Owens camp into camp unhappy with the seven-year, $49 million dollar contract signed last year. Reid said Thursday that he has not scheduled a meeting with Owens' agent Drew Rosenhaus and simply expects Owens to return to the team next Wednesday.

As for Owens' future with the Eagles, Reid gave the we'll wait-and-see approach.

"I'm not going to go into that right now," Reid said. "We'll see how time goes on."

Try to see it my way,
Do I have to keep on talking till I can't go on?
While you see it your way,
Run the risk of knowing that our love may soon be gone.
We can work it out,
We can work it out.
Think of what you're saying.
You can get it wrong and still you think that it's alright.
Think of what I'm saying,
We can work it out and get it straight, or say good night.
We can work it out,
We can work it out.
Life is very short, and there's no time
For fussing and fighting, my friend.
I have always thought that it's a crime,
So I will ask you once again.
Try to see it my way,
Only time will tell if I am right or I am wrong.
While you see it your way
There's a chance that we may fall apart before too long.
We can work it out,
We can work it out.

I don't think that anyone really thinks that we will trade or cut TO. I don't think it would make a lot of sense to have it pound our cap the way it would. What I'm saying is that I want him off the team. I don't think it will happen. I don't think it will improve the offense. I don't think it will help the salary cap. I just want him gone. I love the teams that Andy Reid has put together and for this self-obsessed douche guzzler to come in and cause a stir makes my farging blood boil. I don't want to see him on the field I don't want to see him on the news I want him farging gone.

There's no cap issues with TO.  In fact, I believe we gain cap space if he's not on the team.
More Mahe please.

Curtis Conway 49ers

Bobby Shaw Chargers
J.J. Moses Texans
NOTES
Koren Robinson is a skillful athlete, but runs bad routes and drops a lot of passes. He also has had a lot of off-field issues and is very immature. Curtis Conway has been an adequate stopgap the past two seasons for teams that lost their best receiver. He still has value outside the hashmarks. Tai Streets can be very effective at times, but has durability problems. When healthy, Streets can stretch the field vertically as a complementary receiver. J.J. Moses has no value as a wide receiver. He's strictly a return specialist. In that role, Moses is very reliable, but lacks the speed to make himself a scoring threat.
