Belladonna was the best stripper I've ever seen perform.  Hopefully you get to see a little action between the two.

not to rain on your parade, but going to Acapulco isn't world travel.  It's not even tourism.  It's going to a restort.  Nothing Mexican about that town except the abject poverty and drug murders outside of the resorts.  I'm sure you'll have a good time lounging at the mega corporation owned and run mega resort, but if you want to actually meet people you need to get yourself off the resort circuit and into the real world.

you do speak Spanish though, so perhaps you can venture to the edgier parts without getting murdered...but in that town I wouldn't risk it.

Looking to go to Puerto Rico at the end of the month....a friend of a friend has a business on one of the islands...so its pretty much only gonna cost me the roundtrip flight ($400)...which for some reason is cheaper than flying directly from LAX to Cincinnati....go figure....we plan on staying in San Juan the last two days of the trip...I have a feeling I will be watching the Eagles game from there.

Anyone been to Puerto Rico before? Any recommendations?

I missed a "deployment" to Puerto Rico.  They have a jungle that is supposed to be pretty incredible.

I agree...its basically beaches...and drinking....but anything that gets me out of this bubble is travel to me. We were shooting for Miami...but the dolla-dolla-bill-yo! Plus, Im going with a nice little piece...so that should top off the trip. There is a town about an hour away called Taxco that was a mining town. Im just not fond of trusting taxi drivers as guides.

This trip was cheap enough. Not often I get to go. Plus, I get to plot another point on the map that I have not been to...although I went when I was around 6 years old...but that dont count. I still need to visit Puerto Vallarta and Cabo San Lucas to be satisfied regarding the beaches in Mexico. I think Cancun kicks all their asses though.

farg it...its a good start though to the year...traveling wise...and best of all...no internet and no god damn cell phone!!! WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOO!!!!!

I never went to a travel agent before and am considering going to one just to see what they have. Do they demand any sort of up front fee's just to check on travel plans? Any other pointers you guys have would help

Why would anyone give a shtein about any of that depression. Yo go on vacation to be happy. The only advantage I see is you can get that "there but for the grace of God..." feeling.

you pay more for a travel agent, the positive is if you have a good one, they help you out if flights get jacked up and make it easier to travel generally.  If you are going with a trip for an all inclusive, i'd talk to an agent since they can get better package deals at times, especially now for the Carribbean(travel is down 50% in some places) and they are putting some great offers out.  Otherwise check out individual sites sandals.com or just Travelocity/Expedia/Orbitz for hotels and flights if you dont want all inclusive
