Staying at the Loews

Some of my friends are seven stars with Harrahs and they're here for that. I'm tagging along so everything except room is free.

If we do the trip next year, I want to stay close to the Harrah's again.

Yeah this place is nice and right across the street

Just finished a cocktail hour type thing. About to hit up Besh Steakhouse

The place I stayed at was a boutique hotel 100 yards from the Harrah's...straight from plantation times...15 foot ceilings, blood on the sheets, looked like they've been cleaned one or twice in the previous year. Rusty and Phatty stayed there too.

Good spot.

It was awesome...they even had safes in the rooms, but safes are for suckers and the sober

Stayed up until 430am because of a hot blackjack table. Won quite a bit.

We drove over to Biloxi to check it out...don't like

Our room had no windows and a coke dealer definitely saw me in my undies.

Also some irish lady tried to make out with me in the lobby.

4 stars would recommend.

it's so funny to me that if no one knew better you'd think you guys were 21 when you went there

you were well off elders who probably should have all had your own rooms in a nice hotel but instead shared rooms in an urban version of a motor lodge at like age 35

It mainly has to do with not giving a farg about the hotel I stay in when my intention is to get fall down drunk for three days. There's plenty to talk about with regard to unhealthy decision making. The quality of the hotel room was pretty farging far down the list.

more power to you...me personally I haven't stayed in less than a courtyard for at least 10 or 15 years

that was the weekend of Barry's second W that me and matty watched at some ghetto bar just off bourbon street....great times...but even more so considering where we stand now

Mattress, pillow, shower.  That's it, that's the list. Any hotel expense beyond that is money that could be spent killing your liver.

I get my own room now regardless.  I also won't stay in dumpy hotels.   A standard Hilton is my base line these days.  I don't travel as much as I used to and won't for at least the next few years with my kid starting college, so when we do go away, it's got to be nice. 

I did stay at a Residence Inn not long at that was decent.  Didn't pay for that and it had its own bedroom.
