(ashlie lelie) and a 4th rounder this would help out bolth teams denver need dt help and they like young recivers with potential.. and denver always takes RB's. we need lelie in case owens holds out if he comes back it could be... owens, lelie, and brown not bad.

QuoteVikings | Sharper Bites Back at Favre - from www.KFFL.com
Wed, 4 May 2005 20:47:16 -0700

Bob Wolfley, of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, reports Minnesota Vikings S Darren Sharper strongly criticized Green Bay Packers QB Brett Favre for sticking his nose into WR Javon Walker's contract dispute. Sharper said Favre's words would carry "no weight" with another player on the Packers. Sharper said Walker is now a Pro Bowl player and will do what he wants. "What's going on with the minicamps and whether or not Javon's there - Brett wasn't at minicamp so it really doesn't make a difference who is there," said Sharper. "He wasn't there, so he shouldn't have anything to say about Javon not being there." Sharper made his comments during an interview on Sirius Satellite Radio on the "The Afternoon Blitz" show.

How dare Darren Sharper speak against St. Brett. Now Madden and Leg will rip him :-D

Quote"Let me make this clear: There is no tactic," Rosenhaus said last week. "And I really don't think there is a story here. This is the offseason. This is when you are involved in contract issues. So I would tell everyone to relax and we'll see what happens when we get to the real deal."

Yeah, and I'm 7'2 and starting for the Chicago Bulls next year.

this is the part i do not get. how can he work as hard as he can for droughns, when he has to tend to 90 other players at the same time?

wouldnt logic state, than a good agent with 10 clients can work harder for you than a good agent with 90 clients?

it's been said that rosenhaus will use one player against another, in saying that "give player A this, and in return we'll make it easy for you to resign player B"

i dont see how he works in the best interest in all of these clients. he has to short change one in favor of another. i wonder how Jerome McDougle felt when rosenhause got Jevon Kearse on the eagles at HIS position, effectively taking money from Jerome (seeing that the eagles put certian value at positions)?

Walker has no hard feelings on Favre's comments about his holdout

Quote
MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Green Bay Packers receiver Javon Walker has no hard feelings toward Brett Favre, who criticized him for holding out of a mandatory minicamp last month.

Even though Walker has two years left on the contract he signed as a first-round draft pick in 2002, he wants a new deal after a breakout 2004. Walker had 89 catches for 1,382 yards and 12 touchdowns and was selected to the Pro Bowl for the first time last season.

Walker said Saturday he is unsure whether he will be at the Packers next minicamp in June, but is confident that he and the Packers can work out a deal before training camp begins in July.

``I consider myself one of the best,'' said Walker, who made his comments before participating in a charity softball game at Miller Park. ``I'm comfortable with my talent, to where if I did get a contract extension or whatnot, or renegotiation, I would live up to the ability of what they would give me.''

So, just to make sure I got all this straight,

Mr. "I'm not honoring my contract" has said that if he gets a new one, he'll honor THAT one?  Something smells rosenishy.......

Interesting readers comment in TMQ:

FED UP WITH T.O.? JOIN TOD'S CLUB. From Tod D., of Wilmington, Del.: "I'm an Eagles fan and I am extremely disappointed with how the whole Terrell Owens fiasco is turning out. I think T.O. has really missed the point -- he could have easily turned his Super Bowl, team-player image into millions in endorsements. That said, his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, has to bear a share of the responsibility for this mess. Is there any precedent for teams refusing to deal with a certain agent? Do you think teams should begin to adopt that kind of stance?''

They won't admit it, but in my mind there's no question that some teams grade a prospect lower if, for instance, he has the Postons for agents. Teams think of Poston clients as almost automatic holdouts, like baseball teams who fear agent Scott Boras. I'm not saying some teams wouldn't take a Poston client, but it would be a definite factor in their decision whether to draft one of their men. And it should be. If you know a rookie probably isn't going to be in camp on time, you have to ask yourself if the player is so much better than another player who you can be fairly sure will be there when he's supposed to.
