As the article reads this list of FA's won't have many suitors.     What will happen to Bobby T???

Quote• Bobby Taylor, cornerback, Seahawks: Taylor has been replaced as the Seahawks' third cornerback, and chances that he would be moved to safety ended with the Seahawks' plans to sign Bucs safety John Howell in June. Taylor has a bad knee that might hurt him on the open market.

I suppose the fact that he tackles like a matador (sp?) had nothing to do with it.

Athletes who don't know when to retire. People who embarrass themselves so publicly are pathetic. It's over, accept it.

Has he put up great numbers of late? No, but he can still help a team and help school the youngsters.

so become a coach.

Plus he is a great PR stunt to bring attention to the team. :paranoid

I think the Broncos have signed enough turds for PR.   Ron Dayne, Clarett, Sauerbrun, all of the Browns turdy Dline etc.  They love the turds.

The Kansas City Star reports free agent WR Freddie Mitchell (Eagles) will workout for the Kansas City Chiefs next week. President and general manager Carl Peterson confirmed Mitchell's visit late Thursday, June 2 and said the Chiefs will do some bargain hunting in the coming weeks, specifically at receiver, but would sign someone only if they could get him on the cheap. "I guess I'm interested in seeing him come in and work out to see why he failed," Peterson said. " Peterson said the Chiefs planned to bring in at least one other receiver.

The Chiefs really need another WR who can catch 25-35 passes. Badly.

I don't know if Freddie can handle that kind of workload. They'd really be pushing his limits.

is this finally the year there is no more Morten Andersen or
Gary Anderson  ?

PhillyPhreak54

Nah. Some guy will get hurt and Morten or Gary will climb out of the wheelchair and come in to boot 20 yard FG's but look like poo on the longer ones.

PhillyPhreak54

Oh yeah...

The taterskins signed the injury prone WR Kevin Dyson and worked out Antonio Freeman.

James Thrash? Check.
Antonio Freeman? Check.
Gari Scott? Check.
Dameane Douglas? Check.

So when will we see Na Brown, Todd Pinkston, Torrance Small and Charles Johnson in taterskins camp? :-D

PhillyGirl

Pinkston? I don't want Pinky there!

Freddie would be a nice fit.
