SD was the Transformers game that bad or just easy to beat? It looked pretty sick from the trailers.

Campaign was good if you grew up a fan. Weapons were pretty weak aside from Megatrons cannon. The campaign is really short, like 15 hours and you're done. It's cool playing and beating the different characters. I don't play online much so I can't comment on that aspect.

i say that every year, then they tell me all the cool shtein that came out for it, and i cave.  Then i get pissed at how zesty EA puts together the game and end up trading it back in.

Traded in my 360 witha 20 GB hard drive and an extra stick and got $170 towards the new 360 slim. Pretty sure the 360 I had was about to die, even the guy at Gamestop said it's loud and ran hot which were good signs it was going to kick again, but now it's out of warranty so I'd of been farged (justification). Apparently when you put something on hold at Gamestop it's only for that day, I called earlier in the day because I didn't know if I was going to be able to pick it up and he said they'd only hold it till Saturday morning. Total with some other bullshtein I pulled off I wound up paying around $80 for the thing. It's a heck of a lot smaller than the other 360 and very quiet.

This weekend Steam is having a free preview dealie for a RTS called Ruse. From what I can tell, the demo is all WW2 style. They added in ruses, which really explains the name, that let you screw with your opponent's head. Load up Steam, watch the goofy video, and give it a shot if RTS is your thing.

The interesting part doesn't start until after 2 min though.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

Picked up Bioshock 2 on the cheap. Really enjoying it. Some of the criticism was that it was similar to the first one. But the first one was great, so that's not really a bother. If anything, they made it more fun to play by making a few changes to the controls.  Dual wielding plasmids and weapons is a good time.

I bought Splinter Cell Conviction before I got on the boat and finished it last night.  I had the original Splinter Cell and Pandora's Box on PS2 and loved them.  Can't really say the same for the latest version.  Graphics were legit, but there weren't many weapons to choose from and I didn't care for the nvg's either.  My biggest beef with the game though is that it's a relatively short story and doesn't take long to beat......took me about 3 weeks and that's not even playing it every day.  I'm hoping that when I get home and can plug my xbox back into the internets that some of the online features/content improves it.

I also picked up a used copy of Madden 10 on the cheap.  Don't know if this is true for everyone, but for me, it's always harder getting used to the new defenses and new defensive controls than it is the offense.  And to me, defenses in Madden 10 are the hardest that I've played.  Not to mention that just controlling individual players is pretty difficult.  The graphics are good and the game flow has been smooth....have yet to experience any lags or choppiness.  The half time report has got to farging go though.  It's cool that they put it in there but if you want to skip it, you should be able to do so immediately instead of waiting a few seconds before you can x out of it.

Same thing goes for whenever they measure for a 1st down or get together to decide a touchdown on the goal line.  It was cool to watch the first couple of times, but after that I just want to skip through that crap and find out the result of the play.  Awful.  The Snickers ads farging suck too.  Sometimes I feel like I shelled out $15 so I could watch a Snickers commercial.  Farg you and your corporate whore advertising department for infultrating my farging video game.  One of the best things about video games is that I used to be able to play them without commercial interuption.  Thanks a lot, dick bags.  And Cris Collinsworth is still terrible.  You know you suck when someone gives you a script and you still come off sounding like a moron.

Bioshock 1 and 2 are great games. 2 wasn't as good as 1 but was still very good. I thought it was pretty ridiculous that you played as a Big Daddy yet you took damage like you didn't have a suit, that made no sense.

I loved 1 and 3 on the original Xbox, 2 sucked, Double Agent on the 360 sucked, so I didn't bother with the new one because of the mixed reviews.

I've been playing Batman Arkham Asylum, it's not bad, but takes a little getting used too. Gonna start with Fallout 3 once I'm done.

I just got Dragon Age Origins for PS3.  Any pointers?  Don't create a Dwarven Rogue?
