i was playing some madden online for ps2 and thomas jones was truck stickin through the lethal saints defense. i was close to going on a murdering spree.

i am having trouble justifying the $625 it will cost for the 80gb system, madden 09, & hdmi cable...but i might make an impulse purchase anyway. the toys r us in my area has 2 in stock.

Get a 360 Pro for 299.00, it comes with HDMI, and you can get maddedn for 50-60 bucks.

thought about it but the ps3 has free online play & plays blueray. i could get the "cheaper" version of the ps3 & save myself $100.

I'll never understand buying a blueray player/hd dvd player. Every console ive had, XBOX/PS2 has had major issues from playing DVD's, the lens ends up giving out. I'd rather just stream shtein over to my console.

i bought the ps3. madden 09 graphics on my 1080p hdtv are ridiculous. you can almost see the sadness on shawn andrews' face.

I'm conflicted about the commercial. The art is great, but the song. I can't decide if its incredibly annoying or kinda neat.

It is a cool commercial...the song is sorta funny. I like how everything has the money look and texture to it, very creative. mercenaries 1 was so good, I can't imagine 2 being any worse.
