EB games has a buy 2 used games get 1 free deal going on now.  Dont know if that is just at the store I saw or if it is all over.    picked up HitMan: Blood Money,  Gun, and MLB06 The Show.

Nah, EB periodically runs that deal and the one near me is currently running it as well. Great deal, I just have to figure out which games I want.

It basically is the memory card.  You can also buy a Sata connect to connect the xbox to your computer hardrive if you need more memory.  Supposedly Xbox is going to release a 100gb harddrive in the next year

You only need a memory card if you want to transfer data to another system, although the HDD is reattachable.

well...i appreciate everyone's input.  i've made my decision to just get a 360 (well, have my wife get it for me for xmas) instead of waiting for PS3.

played tiger 360 last night. graphics are amazing. gameplay seems pretty much the same. always a great game.

if anyone pre ordered the PS3...i have a friend who is a district manager for EB Games stores.

long story short...don't expect to actually get one on 11/17

a LOT of EB Games and Gamestop stores have had their original distribution numbers slightly lowered this week. some stores dramatically. this after sony PROMISED one #, and is probably going to fail to deliver.

he had information on the nintendo wii too, than that seems to be going smoothly, in fact their warehouses already have 65% of them in stock that they were expecting. and some regions will actually have more systems than were initially preordered. meaning some walk in customers will be able to pick up the nintendo wii.

bigger stores have wii kiosk's functioning now, PS3 kiosk's are virtually non existant right now, there are some.

he broke it down...the PS3 were expecting 10-15 systems each store on average, each store only pre ordered set # of what they thought they were getting. the nintendo's set for 20-25 systems per store.

all pre orders for both systems were sold out in seconds.

this current generation of consoles (he says) is basically a war between xbox 360, and the Wii. the PS3 is going to flop (according to him). Stores arent pushing it as hard, as every store selling all three, the PS3 has the lowest profit margin per unit and per game.

Are you asking about God of War or Gears of War? Murp was talking God of War. My buddy just bought Gears of War yesterday and we're gonna play it tonight. Supposed to have best graphics out of all 360 games so far, 2nd Gen or whatever. From the commercial and that link GearOW looks pretty badass.

Finally got through a season of Madden 07. Off-season is way better, but IMO they really farged up the draft.  Started 2nd season 1st game against Patriots, McNabb injured for 9 weeks in 2nd qrtr. I drafted Jeff Beck in draft he's the back-up. Garcia retired.
