I started a campus legend.   

6'0 220 lb RB.     Faulted the first 2 times on the 40 so I had a slow start on the 3rd attempt.  Came up with a 4.61  40 time.   booo.  Killed the rushing attack.  racked up some points there.   Stunk up the recieiving skills practice.. (would have helped.  to work on that one a few times before doing it).   Returned 4 of 10 punts for TD's in that challenge.  The special teams were half Bobby Taylors I think.   Kick Return was average.    My player ended up being a 3 star recruit limiting me to the #30 ranked team and lower for a scholarship.   I ended up signing with Iowa State Cyclones.  My uniform is blood red.  holler about that.    Chose mathmatics as my major to help improve some attributes that pertained to that.   They actually had ESPN as a major. ha.    Not sure how the whole study/tutor/social activity works... seems very simple and kind of pointless.  You just have to pick "study" every now and then to keep your GPA up to be eligible.   Maybe that gets more involved later on?    First game was against Toledo.  Beat them with a last second TD to win 35-28.   Player had over 100 yards and a couple TD's.   Iowa States playbook is like 60% shotgun formations which is crazy in itself.   Wish I had that playbook in Madden.

i doubt it.  last night was the first full game i played. i did the campus legend. I thought the drills were cool minus, long distance throw. i farged up on the 40yrd dash like 10 times, trying to time the gun. ended up with good scores, had my pick of any school.  went to penn state.  first game i beat akron 31-21 in a close down to the wire game.  pride hurt from almost losing to akron i switched from varsity to jr varsity. next game i beat #3 notre dame, 109 - 3.  i think i'll be going back to varsity.

Iowa State is sick. If you dont know, QB #7 is Bret Meyer, and WR #1 is Todd Blythe. Blythe is absolutely beast-like in the game. He catches just about every deep ball.


I just did a practice Campus Legend. Im going to do a real one once I get all the rosters. I was a 6'2" 235 MLB. My times in the 40 were 4.49, 4.59 and 4.57. I dominated all the drills and got an offer from every single team. I chose WVU. Im probably going to do WVU in my real Campus Legend because Pat White and Steve Slaton are fun as hell to play with...I want a team with a couple of good sophomores because it gets boring if youre just trying to pad your own stats.

I got some nice in season recruits for PSU. Got the 2 best offensive lineman recruits in the country. Also got the best DE and WR recruit. Almost had this QB recruit, but I had to take my points off him to secure the others. He went to ND. Can't get em all though.

sounds like EA Sports went all out this season in making sure they have a realistic product.

Probably because you were the #13th ranked team against a team about #130th when you were playing on the 2nd easiest level.
