the Madden video review was kind of disturbing.  Apparently they took out a bunch of stuff from the game and just  improved on the graphics and the play call menu.   Hope that isnt EA's way of starting the next gen madden and then just reintroducing the same features again over the coming years.  meh.

The only question I have is whether I go with the PS3, or the new Nintendo one.  I haven't owned a Nintendo in forever.  But I'm intrigued.

I won't be buying the 360.  Even when it's only 250 for the full package.

I've never seen a playstation exclusive game that I was interested in playing, but I' be willing to give the PS3 a shot if the Revolution or 360 don't reel me in first.

They're dead on with this.  The game itself LOOKS amazing.  Every player looks like its real life counterpart... you can even see sweat running down some of the players' arms.  Great detail.  Other than that though... it's kind of a letdown.  The game just plays slower than the PS2 and XBox versions.  Gone is all the extra stuff like training camp, most of the franchise features, owner mode, etc.

If you have it already... no need to go out and get this game on 360... other than to see the new graphics.

as i sat down tonight and fired up madden 06 after a long day of eating, it dawned on me.  The Madden curse has struck again.  McNabb and this season was doomed before it even started.

Ok, I was at target and I saw the original Halo and the first star wars battlefront Halo for $15 and the star wars for $16.

Is the battlefront worth the money? Is it even good? I know Halo is good...but I'm not sure about the other one. Anyone have an opinion about these? Thanks.

I think I've heard good things about SWB, but I've never played it. The nice thing about picking up a copy of Halo is that you can get together with other geeks and LAN your Xboxes for some great shootouts.

My wife and i purchased a sony 1080p HDTV and I have to say once you switch over the resolution on the 360 console options it makes a huge difference.  I highly recommend getting a HDTV set when you get the PS3 or 360

From what has been related to me, owning a PS3 or 360 is pointless unless you own a HDTV.
