I tried online the other day. Tried three games-- the first two outright quit in the first quarter after I scored, and the third one conceded in the third quarter. Tough to get a decent game, which is why I generally only play people I know.

After last night I am def. hooked. The credit system doesn't bother me as much. I've only tried the regular Deathmatch. Have not tired the new Gun Battle or Wager matches yet. The Enfield assault rifle is my go to at this point.

Beat the Force Unleashed 2. It's better but shorter than the first one. Traded it in along with a coupon I had for a buy 2 used games get 1 free. I picked up Halo Reach, MW2, and Assasin's Creed 2. For the 3 (with the trade in) it wound up costing me $60. Not bad for 3 big named titles.

After 3 nights of playing Black Ops Ive run into some frustrations. Spawning. Terrible. I think they wanted to really mix up the spawning this time around so its no so predictable. At the same time though, it totally throws off how your used to playing COD games. As soon as you get to an area where you see gunfire on the map, the next minute they are dead and spawning behind you. You constantly have to watch you back, which to me isn't realistic at all. A friend of mine last night proved how bad it was an set a claymore up when the game started on our end and by the time we ran to the other side of the board, they were spawning where we started and he killed someone. Its hard to explain really, trust me its bad. I know in past versions spawning wasn't right so they fixed it with a patch. I just hope they get to this quick.

Silencers. Everyone uses them. You don't show up on the map and combined with Ghost perk, your unseen. Makes it extremely difficult to run and gun when you don't know where anyone is at.

I like to run and gun and last night I was getting torn up by people camping or backed into corners with silencers. So I sat myself in a room and finally got a good kill streak going, but thats no fun.

It was fun the first 2 night of playing but now it just seems like the camping is out of control, the spawning is just down right terrible and the use of silencers makes it so difficult to shoot and move. I really hope they fix the spawning because this game could get really frustrating really quick.

Speaking of Black Ops, the people who bought the PC version aren't very happy either. It seems the game is completely ignoring the video card and doing graphics through the CPU.

Yeah the campaign is pretty weird. You basically assassinate Fidel Castro who's holding a chick in front of him as you burst through a door all slow motion and headshot him. Then your partner blows away the girl. I don't really know whats going on with the game, but you start at the Bay of Pigs, then into Russia and Vietnam, now I'm back into Russia at this point. Robert McNamara is in it and JFK. Its cool that it follows a series of covert actions during the cold war, no war game ever touched on that time frame until now. Oh and one of the guys who tags along with you on some mission voice is Ice Cube and looks just like him. HA

I've heard pretty much nothing but complaints from the few people I know who bough this game.  You gotta wonder with all of these various glitches and such, how did this thing make it through quality control?  Just another case of a company rushing to put out a product so they can separate people from their money without thoroughly checking to make sure that the product is a quality one.
