This online franchise better be the shtein, or I am trading this game in. Everything about it sucks wang. Franchise sucks balls, there is no front office mode despite what they advertise, and the Superstar mode is horrible, and has zero depth. The first twenty minutes into playing Madden 10, I counted no less that 15 bugs (guys running with the ball, and hey, there is no ball in his hands, guys getting carted off on no cart, the wrong fans cheering the wrong plays, on an on. The obligatory, "There is no way that would come even close to happening in a real game" phrase was murmured repeatedly. Just dumb shtein, like the CPU throwing high-risk passes when up a TD with a minute and change on the clock when I have no timeouts..... This game sucks.

I like NCAA better than Madden in regards to game play.  That being said, if you guys are still looking for someone to join an online league, I might be good to go.  Just let me know.

Now that I've got a decent laptop with tons of memory, I've been playing the games I've missed out on over the past few years. This week I've been having a blast with Fallout 3. I was very amused by the Fear Factory reference in there.

Fallout 3 is a really good game, but I liked Oblivion more if you want to compare Bethesda projects. There was just more to do overall IMO.

Not the greatest hardware in the world, but seems to handle whatever I've thrown at it so far.

Nice. Should be able to play most games, but I've heard that Crysis is an absolute bitch to run. Never played it myself, so I couldn't say.

I haven't played a true FPS in years, if you don't count Bethesda games. I'm anxious to know if it'll play Dragon Age, but I'm waiting until I'm finished with Fallout 3 to find out.

I have Dragon Age for the 360, but didn't play yet. Been playing Assassin's Creed 2. Fun game.

Dragon Age sucks ass. I played it hard for about two weeks. Each mob is exactly the same, and does roughly the same stuff, which is melee and and not move. Also your "party" does all the wrong shtein, the casters melee, the rogues tank, etc..

Overall the AI is terrible and there are way, way too many quests that get thrown at you, it's almost impossible to work on just one. Save your money.

I'd probably run a couple dozen mods after the first five hours to take care of the AI. An overload of quests is something I don't mind all that much. Its been a while since I've seen a polished Bioware game, but they're usually good for writing.

so in order to start 2010 off right i decided to not go to work and instead play video games all day.  i think i'm already slightly better in madden.

anyway, right now our league is set up for 8 people and we have six.  anyone else that's going to be in? if not, i'll change the league max to 6 then we can pick a time for the draft.  i don't think it should take too long.

I know a guy or 2 who might be interested. I'll have to message him. BTW Phatty I was playing MW2 with a buddy last night or else I would of taken you on. I am rusty at Madden right now, I'll have to fire it up and play a few games to get back into it. I say give it a few more days to see if we can fill up those spots. that way also, we can get one person to be on a team in each division etc etc...if that makes sense?
