Why do lights turn off when i walk near them?  Streetlights, houselights, its friggin weird.  Sometimes i think i have superpowers, but then realize im an office jockey.

i think this set of clubs looks good for me as a beginner.  it's a name brand, cheap price, and has everything i need.  what do people who know what they are talking about think?

Good price, the thing about Golf Clubs is you never know what your getting until you've been able to try them out.  That site seems to have a pretty good return policy, you just have to shell out a few bucks, or you could use your corporate account if you dont like the feel of the clubs. 

I bought some knock off XL-8 Callways by Turin Golf.  They have a small place right off I 95 in Newark, DE.  The best thing was trying each club type that they had and getting a feel for which would fit my style of play best.

The Dunlops might be better just based on teh reviews.  Wilson makes me think of

I still play Taylor-Made 300 Series Irons with graphite shafts.  They're the best set of clubs I've ever owned.

If I were you I'd go to a store that sells used clubs and look for used top-of-the-line sets and have someone who knows what the farg he's doing go with you.  The guys who own those places are usually pricks and will sell you shtein you don't need or can't handle at your current skill level.

PS: Don't buy new.  New clubs are a farging rip-off.  Even the shtein ones you can buy at Target or Modell's.

Romey, thats why i went to the knockoff place.  I went there to see how much it would cost to have my old 1972 Ben Hogan irons refinished.  It would have run me about 300 bucks, we started looking at the callaway knockoffs and i tried them out.  I tried a taylor made knockoff too, but really liked the swing of the callaway's. 

The best thing about those little places is getting measured for an exact fit to your swing.  Makes your swing effortless when your are connecting at the correct arm length.
