Was just looking up the prayer scene in the movie Glory...and it dawned on me....

I don't know if I know what a young Morgan Freeman looks like? As early as I can remember until present day...he just looks a little grayer. Dude doesn't age.

Anyone remember seeing or watching a young Morgan Freeman?

There is no younger Morgan Freeman. There's just the Morgan Freeman from before, and the current one with the bloated hand he can't use and the granddaughter farging.

The man. The myth. The legend.

I believe he started out on the kid's show Electric Company in the 1970s.  He did the character "Easy Reader."

Remember the old TV show "The Electric Company"  He was a main member of the cast.

Edit....guess I should have read the rest of the thread first.

When you plug something into an electrical outlet, does it matter what side of the plug goes in if they both fit? Usually, there's a bigger side on a plug and that goes on the bigger slit. I have heard that if the wires are crossed,  it affects electronics and can cause damage to them. Just wondering if this is the same thing or it doesn't matter as long as the positive and negative wires are connected properly at the outlet.

Typically, you're only going to see that on small electronics like a phone charger or something.  Anything that draws significant power will have the big/small prongs on them.  But if the prongs are the same size, I don't think it matters at all which way you plug it into the outlet.

Any legal nerds here?

I have a friend who works at a law firm as a secretary or paralegal or something.  About 2 hours ago she posted on facebook that she was waiting on a phone call from the mediator and hoped it would be a settlement offer.  About 20 min ago she posted that they got a $10mil settlement.

While that's certainly good news for the firm and the client, I commented on her page that she probably shouldn't be giving out any details on facebook about cases or settlements that her firm is working on.  Naturally, I got bombarded by other friends of hers who say the matter is closed because settlement has been reached.  I contend that an agreement on a settlement has been reached over the phone but no paperwork has been signed or filed with the courthouse, so it's still technically an "active case."  There simply wasn't enough time for all that to happen given the timeline of her posts.

So given the sensitivity that surrounds attorney/client privilege, is this something she could get fired for?  I'm assuming that since the case was handled via mediation, it wasn't open to the public like a regular court case would be, right?

Even if I'm completely wrong on this, I still told her not to post anything work related on FB.  No good can come of it.

the best part about facebook is watching a fringe "friend" of yours completely melt down and post something incredible stupid on facebook.
