It goes straight to video without Neeson in it, but it wasn't terrible.

I'm not feeling the hate for Taken either.

Classic uptight movie snobbery.   Was it stupid, implausible and cliche-ridden? Duh.  It's a revenge action popcorn flick.  Neeson was such a ridiculous badass, it defied any logic whatsoever.  And guess what - that's the point.

The sequels were money-grabs but hell I even enjoyed those too.

I mean I enjoyed them exactly for what they were... I did go through with watching 2, 3, and taken on a plane after all. But they're hilarious like the newest die hard where they drive a truck off a heliclpter in mid-air.

Where do you people find the time to waste on these trashy movies?  Not a shred of art to them.  Even when I didn't have kids...there are books to read, women to farg.  Why for god's sake you would inflict this crap on yourselves, I cannot fathom.

The worst thing about Liam Neeson: Action Hero is it led to someone thinking Sean Penn: Action Hero might be a good idea.

I love two anti gun actors in a shoot em up movie.  Penn was good in Mystic River, that movie was Taken before Taken.
