saw 30 minutes or less the other night. funny. not hilarious but nick swardson and kenny powers had some pretty funny moments. aziz ansari a few too. worth watching once but probably not twice.

Geowhizzer

Don't suppose that Kung Fu Panda should be here.  Home with sick daughter.

Sgt PSN

I watched Megamind the other day on HBO.  No kids, no squaw, no excuses.  I enjoyed it.

General_Failure

I watched Dr Horrible's Sing-Along Blog again the other day. Still a great way to kill 40 minutes. NPH was awesome, and this was probably the last time Felicia Day wasn't completely obnoxious and awful.

The man. The myth. The legend.

General_Failure

Last Man Standing. Better than I was expecting. I was surprised to see Christopher Walken not hamming it up.

The man. The myth. The legend.

Rome

Has anyone seen the previews for the new Clooney weeper yet?

Mrs. Rome did.

That's all I'll say.

Watched the tourist, corney, predictable story line, and Angela Jolie kept her clothes on so it sucked.

the thing is comic book nerds really like most of the movies that come out..or at least way more than they pretend to....but if they openly like the movie their existence ceases to exist.....their whole being comes from the faux rage of a movie not mirroring the comic or the book....so really as a nerd to have your life mean something you have to flip out about every one one of these movies

Wow. More styerotyping from the igster.

I've read and collected comics since I was a kid. There is really no way a movie can follow the comic to the letter unless it's going to be a 8-10 movie series. So, I like that the movies go in a different direction, they seem to add to the dimensions of the characters, something that would be harder to do in the comic I think because actors can convey emotions easier than an artist can draw them.

Movies are movies, comics are comics and theres no way one can be exactly like the other.

you are a hundred...you cant be a nerd anymore
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

Never was, you don't have to be a nerd to read comics.

It's widely known around here that I'm a racist redneck republican....who happens to read and collect comics.

Watched paranormal activity and Immortals this past week.

Paranormal activity was cool, along the same lines as the other ones. Not more, not less. Same.

Immortals, if you liked 300, it's the same mindless shtein. Except with a BEAUTIFUL ASS SHOT of Freida Pinto....smoking hot ass! Movie was worth it just for that.
I said watch the game and you will see my spirit manifest.-ILLEAGLE 02/04/05

The Descendants.  Filmed entirely in Hawaii.  Got great reviews.
"Well where does Jack Lord live, or Don Ho?  That's got to be a nice neighborhood"  Jack Singer(Nicholas Cage) in Honeymoon in Vegas.
