Fright Night was better than I thought it would be.

watched a movie called Hesher last night. liked it a lot. started out really funny, then got really dark, not really sure what the point of all of it was but fun to watch anyway.

good to hear. i d/led it when i got home drunk one night with a bunch of other dumb shtein and it's been sitting in the folder ever since.

yeah i had never heard of it before either but it has a good cast. joseph gordon levitt, natalie portman, rainn wilson.  gets a little predictably ghey at the end but still good.

Lucas tweaked parts of the 6 movies for the Blu Ray release. Among the tweaks are he has Han shooting first in the Mos Eisley Cantina. He edited it and had Greedo shoot first, it was an awful edit and probably the worst thing he changed in the original trilogy. Other things he fixed are in ESB he edited the Wampa beasts arm when it attacks the Tan Tan. Originally you could see part of the bar because the arm was just a prop. He redid the color of the sabers in ROTJ. And the biggest change was in TPM, he used the original Yoda and scrapped that awful one with the bushy eyebrows.

watched X-Men 1st Class last night.  i liked it, probably the 2nd best x-men movie they made.

also saw Thor and it was meh.  the first 2/3rds are really boring and then the end is kind of weird.  don't really care about the character and just wanted to see it before The Avengers comes out next year.
