This bothers me.

Tom Cruise is 5'5 or whatever and not at all like the character in the books.

Back off Phreak, he's 5'5 1/2.  Perfect Cornerback size for "All the Right Moves".  God he looked horrible trying to play football in that movie.  Moved like the tinman in Wizard of Oz.
"Well where does Jack Lord live, or Don Ho?  That's got to be a nice neighborhood"  Jack Singer(Nicholas Cage) in Honeymoon in Vegas.

SD

Tried watching the Other Guys. Made it half way in and turned it off, just don't see the point of watching the rest.

Pontypool was a pretty cool take on a zombie story.

Enjoyed The Adjustment Bureau too. Blunt and Damon made an otherwise blah movie into something totally watchable.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

I tried reading the book.  The first two thirds was passable, but the backend was really difficult to slog through.
Still, the concept of an idea being a disease is pretty cool.

Agreed.

I was excited when it was coming out and excited to see it but it disappointed.

SD

Blood into Wine - Documentary of sorts about the vineyard Maynard started in Arizona. I'm a big Maynard fan but even if you take him out of the documentary it's still outstanding.

Tomahawk

Netflix sent me True Romance...I'd forgotten what a great movie that is

Rome

Watched Law Abiding Citizen this afternoon.  Damn, it was pretty good.  I didn't expect much because Jamie Foxx is a hack but Gerard Butler was excellent as the villain.  Good stuff.

Solid B+

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Caught Captain America with the boy. While it wasn't great, it was much better than it could have been and better than I expected.

I tried watching it the other night because Paul Rudd's stuff is usually funny and it has some of the guys from Flight of the Conchords, but I couldn't do it. I got through 45 minutes and saw it was 2 hours long and turned that shtein off
