Anyone seen a good movie lately?

The more I think about it the less I liked it.  They're just boring as hell to me but the kid and the wife really enjoyed them so that's all that counts.

ive never seen a minute of them but its absolutely amazing how consistently good the series has been...critically its the most successful franchise of all time...what has there been ten of them?....and not a single one was reviewed poorly...pretty incredible if you think about it

don't get me wrong.  they're very well crafted.  the writing and acting are very good and the special effects are off the charts.

it's just "harry potter" that bores me.  the whole wizard world and blah, blah, blah.  it's boring in the same way i find the lord of the rings stories boring.

i wasnt saying you were wrong or even commenting on your opinion just stating the impressiveness of that feat....most movies first sequel gets average to bad reviews...to have ten all be critic friendly is absurd

and you took the words right out of my mouth with lord of the rings....that fantasy type nerd shtein does nothing for me but thats another one that was basically flawless

I think LOTR is better than Potter but igy's right regarding the consistent quality.  I find the story entertaining but not amazing.  Lotr is pretty sick if you like that stuff.   Potter doesnt have the same type of scope to it that I enjoy.

Caught Horrible Bosses last night I thought it was pretty funny. The guy from Always Sunny is hilarious. Spacey and Aniston were great. Aniston was a huge whore and looked the part, wow. Def a worthy comedy flick. I would wait for the DVD though.

Yeah, I saw Horrible Bosses, and I liked it...but it's certainly the kind of movie you'd enjoy as much at home as in the theater. There's just not much else out that the wife and I both want to see.

yeah i laughed but it's probably not one i would bother to watch again unless it's on like tbs at 3am.

but holy shtein that was definitely the hottest that jennifer aniston has ever been. ever. and she's like mid 40s or something now.
