Which is why I need to be very selective here.  I think my love of irony is going to push me to do it though.  Selling my soul to the dark side so I can buy a Star Wars box set.  Seems fitting.

Saw the Arthur remake with my daughter this afternoon.  It was pretty good.   I'd say that Russell Brand was better than Dudley Moore and everyone else wasn't as good as the original cast.  Plus the ending was lame compared to the original.  They changed the screenplay quite a bit and the writing wasn't nearly as sharp as the original.    Not bad but not worth 12 bucks.

I give it a solid C+.

Hanna was ok.  Enjoyable while I watched it though the more I think about it the more issues I have with it.

The Expendables - Pretty typical action flick...lots of explosions, blood, guts and big guns wrapped around a simple plot and a cheesy ending.  But the actions scenes were top notch and there was no shortage of them either.  It was pretty much like watching the last Rambo movie if Rambo had a half dozen friends.    Fun movie.  6.5/10

Watched Sucker Punch at the theaters.

Might be a little slow at first but picks up as soon as the first action scene starts and you beging to understand the format of the movie. Action scenes were fun. If you are looking for academy award performances, you're not getting them. If you are looking for fantastic, video game style action, this is your flick. It doesn't hurt that these girls are something hot. I ended up liking the movie more as it went on than in the beginning.

I'd go watch part 2. If there was a video game that came from it, I'd buy it. This movie is what it is.

i saw the dilemma a few nights ago...i don't think it even made me smile once.  what a piece of unfunny shtein vince vaughn has become. the whole movie was horrible.

I don't hate it as much as you because I thought it did have a few funny moments, but it was largely unfunny and disappointing.
