I will never get tired of IGY telling everyone all about how overrated the movies that he hasn't seen are.

For the record, I love The Big Lebowski but didn't like it the first time I saw it. It grew on me and got better with each viewing (something that a couple of Coen movies have done).
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

It definitely had a certain charm, and I think I would have liked it more had I not been bombarded with recommendations for it. But the end of the movie seemed like a train wreck. As far as Coen movies go, I thought Fargo was way better.

MDS

its a good movie

there is a certain douchebag lovefest element to it

that shouldnt stop you from enjoying it or watching it the one time it needs to be watched

but i know it will
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Fargo was awesome. "Is that your-ah friend in the-ah wood chipper there, eh?"

Just watched the Captain America trailer.

Can we find someone other than the Nazis to kill in movies?

that's the storyline in the comic though

Then I approve.

C'mon man, he punched out Hitler in the comics.  Where have you been, under a rock?!

hbionic

Captain America is probably the low man on the totem pole of super heroes. He probably has Flash Gordon sitting on his head.

Batman, Superman, Spiderman, Green Lantern, Aqua Man, Wolverine, with probably Batman heading that list. Everyone else kinda sucked or I didn't care too much about.

It's probably why I enjoyed the Iron Man movies so much...didn't know much about them. Maybe I will become a fan.

Ok, no...but he was in the league of justice so I just threw him in.

Don Ho

Aqua Man was a beast.  Not the Entourage Aqua Man but the real farging deal.

Assume the position!

"Well where does Jack Lord live, or Don Ho?  That's got to be a nice neighborhood"  Jack Singer(Nicholas Cage) in Honeymoon in Vegas.

Rome

I thought Get Him To The Greek was one of the funniest goddamn movies ever.  I laughed from start to finish and Russell Brand is a genius.  Holy shtein is Jonah Hill fat, though.  Damn, dude... eat a salad once in a while.  Jesus...

I started watching that the other night and will finish it this weekend, but I found it funny too.

I will probably go check out The Lincoln Lawyer today. Its getting decent reviews and I like the book's author, Michael Connelly.

Lincoln Lawyer was pretty damn good.

Everyone was cast perfectly and McConaughey was great. I hope they make a second one. It is definitely worth seeing.

Munson

I've never seen it but I am 100% absolutely certain it's overrated

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Diomedes

Anything I've never seen which I think hews to stereotypes I favor, and is also liked by other people, is obviously overrated and probably worst ever.
