I watched Heavenly Creatures last night. It was a strange experience. It had all of Peter Jackson's trademark light-hearted goofiness and awkwardness in the way the characters behaved and the way he uses the camera to exaggerate their expressions, but ultimately it was dark and sort of unsettling in the way it kept you off balance. Goofiness laid over dark themes.

Anyway, I can't decide whether I liked it or not but I don't think I'll be watching it again. Young Kate Winslet nip and weird lesbian tension for the meh.

Finally got around to watching the first Iron Man last night. Thought it was decent. Never got into the comics so I don't know how it compares. Pretty standard in terms of comic book movies.
