Date Night - worth checking out if you're a Carell or Fey fan but it was just OK, nothing great

The Machine Girl - Japanese action-gore nonsense. You already know if you like this sort of thing and if you do you'll enjoy this movie.

The Book of Eli - Yes. It took itself way too seriously but post-apocalyptic action movies with supernatural subtext are right in my wheelhouse and this did not disappoint. Mila Kunis is just a terrible actress but I think she might be my new favorite. Eating her ass is what I'm thinking about right now. And it is pleasant.

Piranha 3D - Holy shtein. Holy farging shtein. Tits. Blood. Kelly Brook. Hairless snatches. Chicks making out. Solid cameos. Constant and absurd death. So good.

I've been wanting to check out Book of Eli but haven't moved it up in my queue because it got very mixed reviews.

I enjoyed it primarily for the action scenes. No shaky cam nonsense, no ten thousand cuts per punch. Some people feel like Christianity was shoved down their throats while watching it, but I disagree. Go ahead and watch it.

It's awesome commenting on movies that you have not and will not see.

Its why I can happily put Miller's Crossing in my bottom 5 worst movies of all time.

I think reviews on roton tomato were damn near split down the middle.  I highly doubt it received the worst reviews.

The movie actually touches on the positives and negatives of religious faith. And critics were essentially split on whether they liked the movie or not.

But far be it from me to halt a trademark CF conversation. Please carry on.

I found the Christianity stuff pretty tame.  I just thought the movie was lame, didn't really keep my interest.
Mila Kunis is smoking, though.
