So I'm pretty sure that I was the last movie-nerd on Earth who hadn't seen Casablanca. Took care of that last night. It was good. I'll rewatch it happily.

Except for the world is bigger than both of us crap, Casablanca has stood the test of time remarkably well.

I was really surprised by how well it stood up. I had no expectations for it at all and was sort of expecting a schmaltzy romance, but to my surprise it was remarkably good.

I wouldn't call myself a movie nerd by any stretch...but I have yet to watch Casablanca and Citizen Kane. And Porkys.

I think I've only seen 5 movies that were released before I was born:

Godfather
Godfather II
The Bad News Bears
The Longest Yard
The Wizard of Oz

...and I was 2 months old when Rocky was released...
