I just saw Hancock. What a waste of a decent premise. Bad movie...slow, boring, nonsensical.

I bet you'll never guess where they flipped to in the script and started wiping their ass with it until they reached the end.

The man. The myth. The legend.

Drag Me to Hell was amazing. Completely ridiculous and as always borrowed from his earlier movies, but also scary and well done. The protagonist chick was perfect for the part. Vomit gags left and right.

Now, if I could just murder every other person in the theater it would have been perfect.

Make sure you punch everyone who talks during the seance scene.

If he's truly in the hood to see that, he'll never stop punching.

I was in 'the hood' last night and yes, you are correct.

Saw Up today with the family.

Another excellent Pixar film.  The third stanza was a little rote, but still very enjoyable.
Anyone but Reid.

watched it on netflix instant and they have it under their comedy genre but it's a drama with drama humor.  and the description they give about the movie really doesn't give anything remotely close to an accurate description about it.

QuoteRather than living his last days to the fullest after learning he only has six weeks left on earth, Henry Poole (Luke Wilson) cuts himself off from his fiancée and his family -- and binges on Twinkies, pizza and liquor. But a fortuitous miracle and a clash with his eccentric, meddling neighbors derail Henry's plans

turns out that the movie is really about a stain on the side of his house that looks like jesus and drives his meddling neighbor into a bible thumping frenzie so she brings the entire neighborhood over to his back yard so they can touch his wall and be saved.  there's also a skinny white chick living next door with a daughter that doesn't talk.

it's roughly 90 minutes of his middle aged mexican lady neighbor trying to convert him.  it was pretty well acted but had i wanted to watch a relgious "comedy" then i'd have watched schindler's list.

drag me to hell - disappointing...full disclosure im not a supernatural ghost horror movie fan....im more the serial killer michael myers leatherface real life type stuff...the garage scene was incredible...the first 1/3 of the movie is really really good and for the second 2/3's i felt like i was watching the final scene in ghost when dook get snatched up by the demon ghosts and taken to hell...also the ending was not even close to shocking...you could see it coming for at least the last 15 minutes of the movie or maybe longer....all in all i cant not recommend it to anyone...its a fun popcorn summer movie...but taken out of that context and put by itself on a stage its really not anything special at all

drag me to hell - 6/10

I saw it today too; we're gonna check out Drag Me To Hell tomorrow or Monday.

Pixar films always have some sort of modern day message in them about society and I'm always curious to see which one they put out.

Agreed with Rusty on the theater behavior. Its always a pet peeve of mine and it I'd love to be able to take a baseball bat with me and start crushing skulls of those who insist on using cell phones.

i literally have never seen a single person use a cell phone in a theater...and i go to a lot of movies...i always thought this was some urban legend...in fact i thought the only place i thought people used cell phones in theaters was in a movie....it happens in real life?
