Well, the guy's real name is actually Joe Shaye and not Carl Hanratty, but yeah.

Oh yeah?? I didn't know that, I guess they didn't use his real name in the movie

I pretty much get a boner from any movie that has zombies or zombie-like creatures in it, so I can sit through any movie that comes close to stimulating my inner fear of a zombie apocalypse regardless of quality. When I say a horror movie is good, I'm not saying it's good in the context that some of you ladyfinger-eating, tea-sipping poofdas use when fawning over some indie film, so there's no need to pick apart things like plot & acting when discussing these films.

Just saw Quarantine this morning and give it 3.5 out of 5 shotguns for scares, proper use of cannibalistic 5-year old girls and shaky, handheld infrared camera shots. It like Cloverfield with Zombies.

Catch Me If You Can: 4/5

I really really liked this movie. Caught it last night on TNT and while its a little long, I thought it was pretty damn good.

Did not realize how many big name ppl were in the movie either.

My Dad sits on the board of directors at a local bank. Abagnale has been a guest speaker at a few of the seminars he's attended. He said the man knows more about the art of forgery, embezzlement and fraud than any man alive. He says one of the reasons he was released from jail early was because Carl Hanratty, the FBI agent who eventually caught him, wanted help from him to catch other con artists. So he ended up working for the same people who caught him, that's how friggen' good he was.

Great movie.

Yeah they show that at the end of the movie. I think as well as the chase scenes and his clever slick moves were, I enjoyed the story about his father and his mother more than anything else. Walken put in a great performance.

Watched Angel Heart last night. Talk about a movie that didn't age well. Dear god. The glowing satan eyes were laugh out loud awful. Still enjoyable but only because I am a sucker for the supernatural shtein. Oh and because Lisa Bonet is ridiculous. Delicious.

this was a really fun movie to watch but i thought that tom hanks' fake boston accent was the most horrible, over the top accent i've ever heard.  excellent movie otherwise.

I'm anxsiously awaiting this one.

Why anyone would want to watch a pirated movie is beyond me. All it would to is spoil it when I eventually watched the real thing.

Abagnale must have cast iron balls to pull off the things he did. How cool do you have to be to have the balls to walk up to the cabin of a jet airliner and act like you belong there? Or, walk in a bank, knowing the check in your hand is fake, and hand it over too the teller? He could look at the tellers and know which one was the one he wanted. He was a friggen' artist, and now a lot of his practices are exactly what banks have to look out for.

I would love to be excited for this movie but I have been hearing a lot of terrible things. Reports of the studio constantly meddling with the director's vision, massive re-shoots, and sticking way too many characters into a origins movie for Wolverine. In fact there was a report that the studio, FOX, repainted some of the sets to look brighter because they thought the director was making the movie too dark.

I hope its good.

They're going to remake it also.  Hilarious.
