Were you thinking about Mr. Epps the whole time or just at the very end?

the cliche's and overacting is why i like it.  not to mention that the movie started a riot outside the theater when it was over.

I thought it was decent but didn't do much for me in the long run. Well acted but not much suspense until 3/4 of the way through.  2.5/5

Catch Me If You Can: 4/5

I really really liked this movie. Caught it last night on TNT and while its a little long, I thought it was pretty damn good.

Did not realize how many big name ppl were in the movie either.
Marge: I have someone who can help you!

Let the Right One In: Really good. My expectations were probably unfairly high so it didn't blow me away, but it was very good. After seeing it and reading the book spoilers here I think that they did an excellent job of not getting too far into Eli's history. It was a much better movie with all of that left ambiguous.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

I wish I could bone a young, naive Amy Adams.

My Dad sits on the board of directors at a local bank. Abagnale has been a guest speaker at a few of the seminars he's attended. He said the man knows more about the art of forgery, embezzlement and fraud than any man alive. He says one of the reasons he was released from jail early was because Carl Hanratty, the FBI agent who eventually caught him, wanted help from him to catch other con artists. So he ended up working for the same people who caught him, that's how friggen' good he was.

Great movie.

Well, the guy's real name is actually Joe Shaye and not Carl Hanratty, but yeah.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

That was the first and only movie the actors that played Eli and Oskar ever starred in. Considering, I think they both did a great job. Especially Lina Leandersson who played Eli. She actually got the gig by applying online.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
