Do we have a Stephen Hunter review yet? I just can't see a movie without that.

Ok, now there are some negative reviews for "The Dark Knight"

...including one from... THE NEW YORKER.

Ha.

I was discussing this earlier. The reviewer seems to worship the 1989 Time Burton version, and while that movie is good in its own way, there is no question that Batman Begins was superior. Basically, the article came across to me as just trying to be contrarian.

probably because you are way less picky about what you go see...generally when i go to a movie ive done extensive research to the point where there isnt a very big chance that i wouldnt at least like it if not love it...and i cant imagine  ever going to a movie that i know ahead of time is gonna suck to the point it makes me walk out
