I watched "Before the Devil Knows Your Dead" a couple of days ago. Stars Marissa Tomei (topless a lot in the flick),  Phillip Seymour Hoffman, and Ethan Hawk.

I had never heard of it before, but I really liked it. It was done by the same guy who did Dog Day Afternoon, and it's the same kind of movie... I would say 4/5

+1 for Tomei's boobs...-1 for Hoffmans ass.

Watched that a couple of months ago.  PSH is solid as usual.  Tomei, still fine as farg and her boobs are nice even though they are small.  Overall it is a very good flick and I would give it 3.5/5

They've finally made an action movie which trumps Commando for most ridiculous, non-sensical, over-the-top action film ever.

Shoot 'Em Up.  Pretty much as advertized.  I am shocked they could make a movie with less plot and more body count than Commando.  Shocked.  Beyond farging stupid.  I laughed my ass off for 2 hours.  What more can you ask for?

When you beat chopping the top of someone's head off with a thrown band saw blade (nevermind the manikin top it exposed), instant classic.

But what was up with the carrots?

Finally finished watching Die Hard 4. I really enjoyed it, once I shoved Q-Tips into my ears hard enough to cause brain damage.

The man. The myth. The legend.

Rome

just finished watching fight club on hbo west.  greatest movie ever.

Munson

I watched it again when I saw it was on HBO On Demand again...never pass up an opportunity to watch that movie.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

It's definitely in my top 20.  It's simply entertaining from start to finish.

Still pisses me off that the Wilmington city council voted not to let them film it here. iceholes.

No, but I would be a little less pissed off at the Wilmington City Council, considering the movie is set in Wilmington.

munson was up for lead role but once they decided to film elsewhere they went with Pitt

Sweeney Todd 3.5/5 - I hate musicals and am not a big fan of Tim Burton, but this movie was excellent.

It was a simple process.
Brad Pitt's abs > Munsons abs.

Yeah, but what about his 40 time and guitar skills?

Munson

I had the edge, but they cut the sprinting guitar scene from the script. Can't say I disagree, the movie turned out pretty good.
