I actually liked Blair Witch

It was overhyped, sure...but it was still a decent movie. I love when people say they liked or didnt like a movie because it was overhyped.

I don't like horror movies in general so I didn't like that one.

As far as the hype goes, who cares?  Snakes On A Plane should dissuade anyone from ever being influenced by the Hollywood hype machine again.

I, for one, was expecting an oscar caliber movie when I saw Snakes on a Plane.

Snakes on a Plane was the greatest movie ever. Nipples, asses and penis heads all got bitten by CGI snakes. Classic film making.

Even were it not hyped, it was still not entertaining.  There are things I dislike just when compared to the hype, like the music of Dave Matthews Band.  But Blair Witch sucked, hype or not.

I can't believe that none of you no taste clowns enjoyed Blair Witch. I know that my disbelief is easily suspended, but come on.  That was some scary shtein.

I highly doubt anyone in here walked out of the theater or turned the DVD off before it was over. That kind of movie, the way it was portrayed home-video style as "it could happen to anyone--outside of Lancaster" was more than enough to keep you intrigued...but definitely not a re-rental

If it were the first marginally original concept in the horror genre in all the previous decade, it wouldn't have gotten so much hype as a "great scary movie"

i enjoyed the blair witch project.  definitely scarier than 99% of "horror" movies that come out these days.
