Rome

I saw the trailer last week when we went to see national treasure 2.  The audience was roaring laughing at a few of Black's gags but I've never really gotten what's so funny about him.  He's actually funnier in dramatic parts than comedies which is funny in itself.

ed wasn't impressed with Superbad but can't wait to see a Jack Black movie about rewinding video store movies...i guess that explains a lot
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

Just saw Live Free or Die Hard last night.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!  Suspending disbelief doesn't do justice to that movie.  Needless to say, I loved it.  But it was beyond farging ridiculous.
Anyone but Reid.

That is basically the prefect review for Live Free or Die Hard.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

saw Juno this afternoon...overall it was pretty good.  Michael Cera was once again very good as an awkward teenager.  Jason Bateman was pretty good in a supporting role, and Ellen Page was good as Juno.

the story was good and the acting was fine, but where it let down was the dialogue.  it tried too hard to be clever with every line.  they basically tried to clever you to death, and while there really were some great lines in there, they were kind of covered up by the ones that were out of place and obviously trying too hard.

overall, i really liked it and would watch it again.

Busty Cops 2 and Forbidden Temptations on HBO Zone

I was a little upset with the dialogue, and the storyline didn't seem to....

I agree. He's much better as a supporting actor IMO, he shouldn't be carrying movies himself. He'd be great in a group of friends like Knocked Up, just being "one of the guys" instead of the main character.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Busty Cops and Lord of the G String are two of my favorite movies.  Great Dialogue
