how do you have Hot Fuzz already?

The girl's dad does not have the largest stolen video collection anyone has ever seen, since that would be illegal. And I did not borrow a bunch of his movies again.

The man. The myth. The legend.

SunMo

well it's good he doesn't have that...that way your not tempted to never go to theaters again
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

General_Failure

Man, he doesn't even have Hudson Hawk. Hudson farging Hawk!

The man. The myth. The legend.

SunMo

It would be really bad if he didn't have the Next Karate Kid

General_Failure

I didn't not look for that, but I won't the next time I'm not looking at those movies he doesn't have.

Rome

LOLerz... The Next Karate Kid has not one but TWO Oscars.

She ownz.

BlueHeart

Alpha Dog- Alot better than I was expecting it to be. Damn fine job by just about everyone in it. Sharon Stone's breakdown as "Mom" in the closing scenes actually made me uncomfortable. :yay

The ending, which I was expecting, still left me in a state I can only describe as "disturbed".

3.5/5  (Would probably get an extra .5 if Emile Hirsch didn't irritate me for some reason.)
Maybe the voices aren't real, but, they've got some pretty good ideas...

Borat - 2/5

The only reason this doesn't get a one is because I had a few laughs. Nothing made me crack up hysterically. I was waiting for something really offensive and bad when he was on the RV with the college kids since the Hoydas are suing him--nothing.

Rocky Balboa 3.5/5

Rocky is my all-time favorite movie and Rocky II is pretty good. III was watchable and IV and V should have been aborted. I expected this to fall into the line of being aborted but it got decent reviews and it took me forever to watch it. I enjoyed this movie a lot. Mostly for sentimental reasons of it being the last Rocky movie ever. Paulie's line of "this is the last round of your life, Rock" was cool. His kid was a prick and naming Tarver Mason "The Line" Dixon was gayer than gay. I like how they worked some of the old people back into it; Spider Rico and Little Marie. The flashbacks were nice as well. And I always get a sense of pride when I see the city skyline in those movies.

Sgt PSN

Man, I still haven't seen Rocky Balboa yet.  I suck.

I'm with you on Borat though Phreak.  I still get pissed off at that movie for wasting 2 hours of my life.  I've never seen the show so at first I figured there was a lot of "inside" jokes that I didn't get because I hadn't watched it but a lot of people I know who have seen the show said that you didn't need to be all that familiar with the show in order to get the movie.

Pan's Labrynth: 4/5 ....pretty damn good.
Marge: I have someone who can help you!
Homer: Is it BATMAN!!??
Marge: No hes a scientist

I've heard that it isn't really suited for younger kids though? (6-7 years old)  Don't know if you have kids, but what did you think of it in that area?
Three things can happen when you throw the ball, and two of them are bad.

rjs246

Definitely DO NOT take your children to Pan's Labrynth. It's violent and deals with extremely adult problems like spousal abuse, child abuse, murder, suicidal tendencies, war and death. Not a good idea.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Considering it is rated R, I would say...sure...let them watch it. Leave them alone with the lights out too.
