No arguments there.

They were certainly very, very good.  Really tough to argue against that...let alone that they were collectively the worst of breed.

Rome

I also liked The Matrix and Fight Club.  Can't see why anyone would get bent out of shape over Fight Club, though.  It's just a movie.

if i can get tickets to the 10am showing on sat im IN

not trying to spend four hours at the movies in the evening

plus it seems like its made for a matinee

im really going for the double feature aspect moreso than i think the movies are gonna be good...if they get good reviews all the better

never heard of it

watched Conversations with Other Women the other night.  chick flick doo doo.  the entire movie was in split screen, i think because they had to do something different with such a boring movie.  your women may like it, but it's still garbage.  only good part was see a Helena Bonham Carter boobie.

I'm still trying to tame my 300 boner. I don't know if I can handle a Tarantino gore-fest. I might burst a vein.

same here, i don't like wasting going out fun time.  i only go to the theater when i have enough time to see two, like a friday afternoon or a sunday.

Seabiscuit36

i hate the movies...but Grindhouse does seem like the perfect matinee flick

Yeah, and even that wasn't good.  The movie was crap.

The buzz I've read on "Grindhouse" is that Rodriguez's part is much more fun than Tarantino's.

SunMo

it's two totally different movies, back to back, complete with fake movie trailers.  should be a cool experience
