Noooo... that is NOT me, you iceholes.

You're right.  That dook's a lot more hardcore.

In the gay porn sense... yeah, he's a LOT more hardcore than I am.

300 -   8/10    Wasnt the best movie EVAR, but it was awesome in many ways.   Made me want to invent the time machine and go back to make it 301.    :evil

They wouldn't have let you in....they wanted the glory of the suicide mission all to themselves.  Moreover, they were all sires--meaning fathers of sons--so you're out.

All this blabber about "300" is hiding my review of the best action movie of the last decade: "Snakes on a Plane"

SEE IT.

300.

Basically the same review I would give Boondock Saints. Some excellent stuff coupled with some stuff that is so silly it will ruin the movie for certain viewers. Of course, nothing could have ruined it for me.

Basically all of the reviews, on both sides of the argument, are completely spot on. Idiotic dialog and homo-erotic themes which are easily ignored by those who are busy enjoying farging AWESOME battles scenes and carnage.

17/10
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

but how were the bowling scenes?

are you asking about when they unload a gargantuan wheelbarrel of severed persian heads down the mountain towards the advancing hordes?

Idiotic dialog...

"Tonight we dine in Hell!"

I heard that line in the preview trailer and actually busted up laughing.  Good shtein, yo.

I'm seeing it later this afternoon, btw.  Convinced the wife to take a half-day off from work to go with me.   She's really looking forward to the tender love story between the king & queen.

All 3 Lord of the Rings - I still have no idea who half the people in it were. I had to keep turning the volume up because everyone kept wispering their conversations lower and lower. 3/5

Ray - Honestly, I was expecting more. People kept saying that he really played Ray Charles well, but I didn't see it. I don't think it takes any great amount of skill to mimic the movements of a heroin addict. Other than that, the movie seemed like nothing more than a series of scenes slapped together for the first hour. 3/5

QuoteHudson To Play Franklin in Film Biopic?

Music legend Aretha Franklin wants Academy Award winner Jennifer Hudson to play her in an upcoming film based on her life. The Queen of Soul appeared backstage at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Monday night, where she talked about Hudson being the ideal choice to portray her. A book on Franklin's life is scheduled to debut as a theatre production in the coming months, with talk of Hudson playing the soul legend in the film adaptation already in circulation. Hudson won a Best Supporting Actress Oscar last month for her role as Effie White in the movie musical Dreamgirls.

Damn.  She could very well win two Oscars for her first two movie roles.
