"Make love" and "Brittany Murphy" should never, ever, EVER be used in the same sentence. She could have caught a filthy bone while in 8 Mile. Otherwise she's the worst. Ever. I hate her mustache and long whispy arm hairs. Gross.

A movie with Jessica Alba & Rosario Dawson should never be soiled with her presence.  Agh - the mere thought of it makes me angry.

Not one review I read of "The Omen" gave me any reason to want to see it instead of the original... which wasn't particularly good anyway.

Just picked up the Departed for $14.99 at Circuit City

Not a bad deal, but you can download it on your computer for free. Dvdrip. But go ahead, give some corporate conglomorate money, fuel the republican machine, and support the war in Iraq.

Departed- 5/5    only thing I didnt like was the casting of Anthony Anderson.   I would have prefered someone like Mekhi Phifer or Omar Epps for that role.

it came out a few years ago but i noticed its currently airing on hbo...bastiches of the party is an amazing documentary that traces the history of gangs in la from their creation in the 40's to fight white racist gangs to current day crips and bloods...one of the better docs ive ever seen

Agreed on The Omen.  It f'n sucked. You know we all knew it was gonna suck before we even rented it then proclaimed at the end "oh man, that sucked" like it was some kind of f'n surprise or something.

Since I have BB online and can pick up movies at the store for free as well as getting them in the mail, no.  But I see that they're ridiculously popular.  My problem is that we usually keep a movie around for a few days, then watch it, then return it a few days later... and the redbox thing is $1/day.  It would add up quite a bit.

the only thing Anthony Anderson was good in was his season of The Shield
