Shaolin Soccer - Average movie with so much cheese that I couldn't help but like it. :cfhead :cfhead :cfhead :cfhead

Exactly.

This movie isn't out yet but I have been anticipating it for a long time.

The BIGSTUD

Saw X-Men 3 yesterday, and it was the worst of the 3 by far. Pretty much no action at all, and the story wasn't even all that great. The special effects were cool.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

Yeah, all those actions scenes they didn't have totally sucked.

The man. The myth. The legend.

Caught a few older movies this week.

Fantastic Four:  Sucked.  Jessica Alba couldn't save it.  Way worse than it should have been...and it I wasn't expecting much.

Two for the Money:  Sucked.  What's up with Pachino playing the same unrealistic character in every movie?  Didn't he used to be good, or something?  Disappointed, because the premise wasn't that bad.  But, it was boring, unrealistic and a waste of time.

Derailed:  Sucked.  Sucked less than the two above, but it was one of the most predictible movies I've seen in a long time.  Acting was so bad that I had to wonder whether the problem was the actors or terribly written dialog.

So, since I see very few movies, I'll have to go out on a limb and say that most movies suck.

Terminator has been running on Starz. I've watched it like 20 times and still like it.

I saw Ong Bak about a week ago, and that made me want to see The Protector. Both of them kick serious ass.

SunMo

The Insider - very good, liked it alot

Life Aquatic - i liked it, but i need to watch it again.
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

i loved the life aquatic.  funniest part to me is when goldbloom is telling bill murray how he got robbed and murray just says "probably the same dudes".

just watched the hills have eyes uncut - cookie cutter horror acting, script, unbelievable circumstances, etc....brutal violence...so i guess if i had to rank it in that sense well i'd say 7/10 in the horror genre.

the mutant rape scene was a dandy, YAR!

I really liked it.  I thought all the performances were great, and it was a different type of movie that isn't often seen in theaters these days.

El Mariachi. :cfhead :cfhead :cfhead

$7,000 movie, turned into Desperado and Once Upon a Time in Mexico. Better than the latter by a longshot. Just as good as the former, but very B. You have your choice of Spanish, Portuguese, or French to watch it in.

Lucky Number Slevin

It was fairly fun and well-acted.  The design of the plot reveal is slow and methodical, but you start to figure it out earlier - which is probably intentional.  Anyway, if you're a fan of "intrigue" movies and such, this is a fairly good one.

3.5/5

rjs246

I have avoided seeing it because it has an irritating name. I don't see that changing any time soon.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?
