yea this picture make me admire people who don't let people get in their way. it really doesn't make me think that this farger should be dead and this is bullshtein that they didn't explain how the farg he can resist fire, yet dies of bullets. i have the desire to puke now.

While it is utterly retarded to be inspired by a comic book character walking through fire, it is equally retarded to try to act all upset and indignant about an unrealistic comic book hero and his ridiculous death-dodging/eventual death. Especially when you loved Sin City and Mickey Rourke's character, Marv, jumps from a 10th story window and gets hit by a car (twice) and is none the worse for wear, fights cops and hitmen left and right, gets shot and never dies. But is then captured and put to death in the electric chair when it becomes convenient for the plotline.

It's the nature of comic books and hero stories. Get over it.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

I'm still stuck on "it's not a comic book, it's a graphic novel".

its equally retarded for you to point out the obvious.  im a big fan of comic book/graphic novel movies, mostly because i grew up collecting comic books and i realize some of the ridiculous shtein that goes on.  I felt they didn't give a great history into the character, like they do in other comic movies, for him to be a likeable or a beliveable character.  I mean he was holed up in a gov't testing lab where he resisted the medicine. blah blah, but how, why did it make him flame retardent, or make him a martial arts expert...etc...etc...they just kinda left this part out of the movie.  i wanted to like the movie, but it really didn't hit me like, x-men series, the crow or sin city...

p.s. -Marv inspires me to drink and bang hookers

when it came out it was probably the first graphic novel to ever go to movie, i could be wrong, but i am pretty sure. i was young and into comic books when this came out. brandon lee was one of my favorite action actors and his dad was the best ever. hell yes, the crow was an awesome movie and still is, the soundtrack was pretty badass too.

i never read any graphic novels, mostly because graphic novels i believe dealt with more adult theme's, language and more violence.  comic books were more geared torwards the younger crowd.  so for what its worth there is a difference.

Reeve's Superman I and II, Spiderman I and II, Batman Begins, all the Xmen, Sin City...
(I'm sure there are others, but I haven't seen every comic book turned movie)

Are way better than The Crow.  That movie ate ass.  Vapid is probably being too kind.

It was better than Hellboy or Daredevil or Hulk, I'll give you that.
Anyone but Reid.

Well, you liked the Crow.  So, obviously, you'd hate any movie with character development or a plot.

Sin City, Xmen, Batman Begins all awesome I agree.

there are a ton of comic book flicks much worse than the Crow even you have to admit.    Hellboy, Daredevil, Hulk, all of the earlier batman movies, Tank Girl, The Fantastic Four, Mystery Men, Men In Black, Dick Tracy, Judge Dredd, Barb Wire (ha), Spawn, the first punisher  etc.

Plus the soundtrack was one of the best ever.
