Just finished watching the first season of 24 (I'm a new fan so I bought the first 4 seasons). I'm thinking of changing my name to Jack Bauer. That is all.

Jack Bauer > Chuck Norris

Now you've gone and ticked Chuck Norris off.  You're next on his list.

Is that the roundhouse kick list or the give AIDS to list?

The man. The myth. The legend.

I saw a terrible movie last night. I knew it was gonna suck, and it sucked hard. Don't waste your time with When a Stranger Calls. My son wanted to see it and it just worked out that it was starting when we got there. The original was borderline acceptable, being that there were no real answering machines or caller ID, and that parents were not overprotective and shtein yet. But this film simply spends a gross amount of time setting up and explaining away its own plot flaws. The previews even rotted. I skipped out and watched a half hour of Walk the Line again. I said it the first time I saw it, Reese Witherspoon does a fine job and should win Best Actress.

I did create a memorable moment with my kids though. As we were leaving, my less than compulsively clean son darted in and out of the mens room in 30 seconds flat. I asked him if he washed his hands and he replied he didn't have too. I said, "You just had your penis in your hands, go wash them." A group of teenage girls just around the corner burst out in laughter, then we all left with red faces. I'm sure the story will be passed on for weeks by all parties involved.   ::)

For saying Jack Bauer is better?  Probably both.  Chuck'll give him AIDS, then roundhouse kick the both of them.

Damn, how much did that cost you?

24 Season 1 is my favorite season.

I saw American History X last night. It didn't end until 7 am, but that movie is always worth it. It's in my top 10 all-time favorites.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

Good for you SD.  I'll have to look into it.  I watched Season 3 live, but have a hard time finding regular time for TV shows, but I watched Season 1 on DVD last summer, and got season 2 for christmas, and am a little more than halfway through it.  It's great, and if I can buy the rest of the seasons in bulk, I will.   :yay

I re-watched a couple of movies this weekend...

Reservoir Dogs - the more I watch this movie, the closer I get to agreeing with people say it's a better movie than Pulp.  Just a great, balls-out crime movie.  I love it.  I love Pulp more but this one is creeping up on the list.

Wedding Crashers - Just a funny ass movie.  Vince Vaughn is probaby one of the best comedic actors right now.  His combination of facial expressions, line delivery, and improv skills make him the star of any movie he's in, IMO.
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.
