Watched Batman Begins again this weekend. It was still awesome.

Batman Begins 4.25/5 stars
Christian Bale 4.5/5 stars
Katie Holmes' Nipples 4.5/5 stars (would have been a full 5 stars but they were only at attention in two scenes)
Katies Holmes 0.5/5 stars (she sucks ass in that way that only hot, talentless actresses can)
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

You're the only one I've seen rave about batman begins. Which of the previous ones is it most comparable to? Or is it just plain better than the rest?

The one with Jack Nicholson as the joker was nice & dark...but I didn't really care much about the rest of them...so I wasn't too thrilled about this one coming out.
I said watch the game and you will see my spirit manifest.-ILLEAGLE 02/04/05

The others aren't even in the same league. It's an entirely different flick.

Hm, I seem to recall most people liking it... but anyway, it doesn't really compare to any of the other Batmans. I also liked the original Tim Burton piece, but that was very much a Tim Burton movie and not so much a tribute to Batman as a character. This movie is better as an action movie and better as a comic book movie. The other Batman's after the first one were pure garbage.

I liked it a lot as well. It was so dark it was almost a horror flick, especially the scenes with the hallicunigenic fear drug, or whatever the hell that was. It was well acted, well shot, and kinda realistic.  Except for the end. The final, 'secret' villian was such a lame plot device and written in so poorly that it almost ruined the whole movie for me.

Also, on a side note, the dad may have been the creepiest benign father in any movie I have ever seen. He had Sean Landeta eyes.

Well I can't remember if I mentioned this before and I just did a quick search and I didn't find anything, so... I saw The Aristocrats a few weeks ago. It was farging hilarious.

There were two reasons that I was not excited at all to see it. First, stand up comedy hasn't really been all that funny to me since I was about 15. And second, I thought that if I had to hear one more person talk about how Bob Saget is the dirtiest comic out there I was going to stuff the Full House season three dvd set down their throat. But let me tell you, both this movie in general and Saget in particular were worth the money spent to watch it. I was rolling.

The difference being that MDS is whiny and bitter and comes off as a little bitch, while I'm pretty sure Sun Mo was actually agreeing with me... but in an exaggerated and slightly abrasive way.

Absolutely not. It was what I had originally assumed, but you know me. I'm WAY to modest to bring something like that to everyone's attention.

Saget sat in with Opie and Anthony when this movie was coming out.  He took over the show and was hilarious.  People who knew him before Full House said that his act has never changed, he just played a part on a huge network sitcom and got paid.
