Anyone seen a good movie lately?

Being a huge fan of Final Fantasy VII, which is my favorite game ever, I loved this movie. I thought it was awesome.

I really enjoyed the soundtrack, I've been playing it a lot, since I downloaded it last week.

I saw Shaun of the Dead the other day. Didn't get one laugh out of me the entire movie. Some of the british actresses were hot, but the movie just wasn't funny and pretty boring.

I just watched this the other night on INHD Network and it was amazing.  A tow-in surfer (someone who literally gets towed into the wave using a jet ski) rode a 66-foot wave just off the Cortes Bank (SoCal) and it was captured in this film.

Unfreakingreal.

Incidentally, the director's father was the man who directed "The Endless Summer."

If you're at all interested in surfing, it's worth it.  If not, well, then I have nothing more to contribute here.

Kind of the same way I came to love Super Troopers.  I thought the movie was going to be st00pid from the previews I had seen.  Then one night I was channel hopping and it was on HBO or Showtime or whatever and I decided to watch. 

Easily one of the best decisions I've ever made.

I don't think they even tried to be funny in the second half of the movie. The first half had some mildly funny stuff, but nothing that was good enough to get a chuckle out of me. It seemed like it didn't even really try to be funny.

You either dig British humor or you don't. You can aquire a taste for it. And people with the taste for it will act superior to you. Mostly because they are.

I'll like british humor if it's funny. The one part that I thought was semi-funny was when he was on the phone with his mom and he asked her if she was bitten, and she said no but Philip was, and then his friend Ed asked if she was bitten and he casually said no, Philip was. That part was pretty funny, but to me it was kinda like Kung Fu Hustle. It just seemed like it didn't try to be funny. It just tried to be wacky.

Same. One of my friends forced me to watch it when he came to visit my ass and I had no interest in it. It was f'ing hysterical. British humor is pretty hit or miss with me, but SOTD was freaking hysterical. TO_is_GOD_is_an_ASSHAT, but we knew that already.
