well, he has Parkinson's, so he shakes a lot.  i would imagine that shakey hands would make it difficult to take off the lid of a pickle jar

Watched a doc last night on the Indonesian tsunami in 2004 and it was pretty good.

I love beaches and water but one of my fears is drowning and when I see a super raging river or imagine being stranded in a body of water I can feel the anxiety take over my mind. So when that farging wave was coming in I started tripping.

watched inherent vice tonight. i was very high. didn't know anything about it and would have guessed that it was a campy james ellroy adaptation. long story short i bounced between it being farging brilliant and 100% retarded. still am not sure.

about 30 min into it i almost turned it off bc i hated it. 10 minutes later some stuff became clear and i loved it. back and forth for the next what felt like 5 hours. that means it was too long also.

feel like this is a movie you might either love or hate but i liked it more than hated it. eventually it just felt like adding more twists for the sake of it but it's also one where you appreciate the creativity involved.

in conclusion, i have no idea. a lazy comparison would be a more-complicated-for-no-reason-fight club. dug it a lot at some points and yelled out loud to the ladyfriend at others. worth a watch though if you have between 2 and 9 hours to spare. i don't remember what time i started watching it.
