As much as I hate to admit it, DiCaprio has actually been really good with his past few movies, he's a much better actor now than he was 7+ years ago.

love him or hate him DiCaprio is a great actor

He really matured when he took the couple of years off (1999-2001) before Gangs of New York, he was a sniveling little brat that couldnt act his way out of a paper bag.

yall are trippin...hes borderline watchable now...true a long way from the hack he used to be but far from a great actor....

he was horribly miscast in gangs of new york and had one of the worst movie accents ever in blood diamond which made whatever quality performace he may have put forth laughable

i liked blood diamond but this is very true.  i almost refused to watch it just from that corny "bling bang" line in the previews.

I hated Gangs of New York, but he was outstanding in Departed, Blood Diamond, and Catch me if you can. I didn't think his accent was that bad considering it was hard for him to pull off since he's a popular actor and everyone knows his voice. Its not like he was some no-name where an accent wouldn't be considered when it came to a performance.

lol @ bling blang

it was so funny hearing how hard the accent went in and out during the movie...like within the same few sentences it would go back and forth from english to "south african" like six times

I'm sure you know the south african and english accent well with all the amtrak lay-overs.

The BIGSTUD

Speaking of The Departed, I saw Infernal Affairs which was the asian original version of The Departed last night.

Was almost as good as The Departed, but I liked The Departed just a touch better. Infernal Affairs was less hollywoodized so did a few things better, but overall The Departed had more backstory.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

Plus Infernal Affairs doesn't have Alec Baldwin. HE'S THE GLUE!
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

You're confusing this with Glengarry Glen Ross.
