this is the only thing i didnt question. as a big fan of Orson Welles, this was his ending, althought the book is a tiny bit different.

i flat out laughed at this...everything was blown to bits. even boston was ka-boomed...except that one street that only had a few cars on it and everyone else just in the house like it was a normal fall day.  :-D

I didn't say I hated MTF - just that it was a terrible movie.  They're not mutually exclusive you know ;)

Apparently the  aliens are deaf and blind........they couldn't see Cruise and robbins fighting through a so-called 'wall'?

I still think it was cool how the aliens were frying people...but they didn't have much of a plan...and they suck at studying. Everyone knows military targets first, bridges and support lines next, then women and children.
