No, it'll be fine. I'm sure Jared Leto's monkeycheese Joker will totally save it.

lol...one of the criticisms of it is how letos acting was somehow over the top portraying a character that is all time over the top....I didn't realize this but the joker is barely in the movie...apparently hes in a few flashback scenes

Can they stop making super hero movies? They're all awful

Rome

Deadpool was fantastic, Iron Man, The Dark Knight, Avengers, Watchmen, Guardians of the Galaxy... they were all excellent movies.

General_Failure

I'd settle for more good superhero movies. Guardians of the Galaxy was actually fun to watch. Oh, right, and Deadpool.

The man. The myth. The legend.

And I've said it a million times... if you allow professional movie reviewers to decide your entertainment plans, you should consider blowing yourself up with a thousand sticks of dynamite.

that's some idiotic anti intellectual trump voter shtein...if you don't educate yourself on things whether its a movie you might go to a restaurant you might eat at or a car you might buy you are a middle american dope....then again im trying to explain this to someone who formulates his movie going plans by how hot an actress is and if the trailer looks cool

GOTG was fun, but also annoyed me a little.  Rocket was never actually shown using his rocket, so if you weren't already familiar with it then you wouldn't know why his name is Rocket.  I didn't think Zoe Saldana was a great choice for Gamora either. On the plus side, Vin Diesel gave the best performance of his career. So that's good.

Actually, it's funny that you refer to Trump here because you often follow the advice of media in the same way brain-dead Fox News viewers follow the advice of talking heads on that channel.   I don't allow others to form my opinions for me.   If something looks good, I'll go see it.  If a book seems interesting, I'll read it.  I won't run to a website or newspaper to find a review to convince me that it's ok to read it.  You don't read, you're not interested in educating yourself, you're unwilling to expand your mind past anything that doesn't conform to your already held beliefs, and you revel in your own willful ignorance.    That's fine, though.  You're certainly entitled to it.

no...not reading or educating yourself about anything is moronic

more preparation and intelligence about anything...no matter how trivial is a good thing...this spreading notion around the country that its elitism to read a newpaper whether its the business section of the wall street journal or a new York times movie review is out of control

I expect it from Neanderthals like smeags but romey is dissapointing

I have learned to not put much stock in online reviews. Sometimes the movies get lousy reviews and I like them. Other times they're critically acclaimed and I hate them.

Hotel and restaurant reviews are notoriously overrated. People piss and moan to piss and moan

ice grillin you

find some writers you deem intelligent with discerning tastes in whatever they are reviewing and mix their knowledge and opinions with your tastes and likes...then make a decision....its not rocket science but at the same time to completely dismiss out of hand information that could make your experience or purchase or whatever more enjoyable for you is asinine...then again ignorance annoys me...a lot

I don't think you like restaurant reviews j because correct me if im wrong but you don't really like a lot of foods...you seem to be mostly meat and potatoes

that being said I will say that I find that there is a much greater divide between reviews and reality in restaurants than say movies...if a movie gets universally great reviews almost always its going to be at least very good and will never be terrible...whereas a restaurant can get a bad or average reviews and ill often go and really really like it or vice versa

Yeah you're pretty much correct. I mean I don't really go for fine dining nor do I like seafood really but I do look up new places on Yelp or whatever just to get a vibe of what the place is like.

The biggest thing I have noticed - especially with hotels - is people will bitch about stupid shtein. Like a coffee table having a scratch or something like that. I remember before the first time I stayed at Bally's in Vegas I was worried that it was a dump. Based on the TA reviews. People made it sound like some shteinhole along a highway in Kansas. But it was fine.

So the opinions of others were incorrect and you discovered the facts by personal investigation and firsthand experience.

Gee whiskers.
