I was working from home the past two weeks and caught quite a few films on Netflix.

Daybreakers - Probably the most pointless movie ever made.  Plot went nowhere and used every cliche in the book.  2/10

Conan the Barbarian - Wasn't expecting much, but it was fairly enjoyable.  The violence and gratuitous nudity helped.  6/10

Goon - I'm still trying to decide if I liked this movie or not.  The story was actually half way decent, but his scrawny friend (Jay Baruchel) ruined it for me.  If you are expecting a Slap Shot like comedy, go somewhere else.  6.5/10

Faces in the crowd - I love Mila, but I found myself turning this off after 20 minutes.  4/10

Boy Wonder - An indy flick with a small cast.  Well acted, good story.  I was pleasantly surprised.  7.5/10

Paperman - I watched it for the cast.  Story really creeped me out and the twist could be seen a mile away.  Otherwise, not terrible, but not something I'd recommend.  5/10

Growing Op - A comedy-drama that was a bit light on both.  Twist ending caught me by surprise.  If I was a teenager full of angst, I probably would have enjoyed this movie more.  4/10

Some old films I have never seen before:
Memento - I have no idea why I never caught this film before.  Just awesome.  A 10

Ghost Dog: Way of the Samuri - This movie had a shot at being decent, but then seeing him spinning his guns around like a sword before he holstered them completely ruined the movie for me. 5/10

Bubba Ho-Tep - A low budget movie about a rest home ridden Elvis and his black friend who thinks he is JFK fighting a soul sucking mummy from egypt?  I'm game.  7/10

Fallen - Fun fact: There was a scene in this movie that was filmed at my old frat house.  Unfortunately they cut it.  I'm not sure what others thought about this movie, but it didn't do anything for me. 4/10
I'm not from Philly but some say I'm blunt.

Fallen....you talking about the Denzel flick?  Ive seen it a couple times, probabaly 10 years ago being the most recent. I'm struggling to remember a lot of specific details from the movie but I thought it was decent.  A little slow, but enjoyable.  Thought the ending was cool.

Watched a scary documentary entitled "Forks Over Knives"... If there is any legitimacy to this, I am concerned about my future happiness or well-being.

I have a government job.

Probably as much legitimacy as the movie that one fatass made about eating at McDonald's everyday.

Sgt PSN

Except that he wasn't a fat ass....at least not when he started filming the doc.

They are careful not to explicitly say "vegetarian" or "vegan" (even thought it's clear that's what they're getting at), but I think there's something to be said for controlling portions of animal-based foods.

But yeah, amazing how a documentary can be so convincing.

I'm sure everyone's seen the trailer for the Total Recall remake and I'm sure everyone has 2 simple questions.

Did they put a chick with 3 tits in it?  And does she/they look good?

Yes.  And Yes.

rjs246

Three tittied bitch, Kate Beckinsale and Jessica Beil? The world's first perfect movie.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.
