wolverwine fought in ww2 according to one of the movies, so yeah he ages quickly.

Wolverines mutation is he heals fast...he's over 100 years old. He ages just at a slower rate. Mystique can take whatever form she'd like...so if she's hangin with younger folks and wants to fit in she easily can.

hanna - well made movie with an excellent cast....the little albino girl was impressive....great cinematography as well

6.5/10

xmen origins - typical superhero movie...as with most of them it was watchable but also was like 40 minutes too long...betty draper was so out of her element it was laughable...question about this movie as i know nothing about the xmen...when the two groups break off at the end is the group with magneto bad guys and the other group is the xmen or are they all xmen just with two different philosophies...also was the black girl halle berrys character

4.5

Yes...Magneto's group is the bad guys. Professor Xavier starts the school in New York for mutants and is the leader of the X-Men [technically Cyclops is the field leader, Xavier is President/CEO]. They remain friends and look out for each other in the regular story. They're both after the same thing they just have different approaches.

And no that's not Halle Berry's character from the original X-Men. She played Storm. Zoe Kravitz [Lenny and Lisa Bonet's kid] plays Angel.

He fought in the Civil War according to the Wolverine movie travesty.

As far as X Men:First Class  I really thought it was made well, had character's that I never thought would get mentioned like Banshee, and overall it just surprised me it wasnt another crap movie.  But again I read the comics growing up and watched the cartoons, so my views are based on nostalgia rather than looking for cinematic greatness.

That was X-men: First class.  Which was really good.

X-men Orgins was the movie centered around Wolverines past and totally farged up Deadpool.
I'm not from Philly but some say I'm blunt.

speaking of comic book movies, i was anti spiderman when they rebooted it again, but the previews are starting to drag me in.

I mean can we get a legit box office smash sometime soon. I cant even remember the last time I went to my wife and said we HAVE to go to the movies and see.....

all you have to do is look at the last 16 pages of this thread to realize we are stuck in comic book hell.

avengers is arguably the biggest blockbuster of all time......but yes the comic book movies are out of control....but so is sci fi and sequels and vampires and wizards...the young people is this country just arent very intelligent right now and hollywood is going right along with it and making dumb shtein that they know will sell to these idiots

you just dont find great big studio dramas anymore that carry mass appeal...i mean in the last five years how many movies like this have made 100+ mil

you can probably list them on one hand and one of them was true grit which was a remake...what else has there been that would fit this category...up in the air maybe (was that great?)...no country for old men was superb but im almost sure it didnt make a hundred mil....but i bet norbit did

Green Lantern - Did anyone else watch this pos?  Is it just me, or did the final battle scene seem really anti-climactic?  The entire movie was pretty bad but the ending was just...ugh.

The chick was hot...too bad he's gay now. That should be the plot in Pt. II. I didn't mind the movie so much...it was entertaining...except like you said for the final battle...so...all the other green lanterns couldn't have done what he did?

Anyways, the chick was hot in that movie.
I said watch the game and you will see my spirit manifest.-ILLEAGLE 02/04/05

It was kinda rushed, and set up for sequels that probably won't happen.
