I don't know....I really was not a Ring fan at all. Didn't keep me interested at all, didn't scare me....meh.

1. Halloween
2. Dawn Of The Dead
3. Scream
4. Friday The 13th (original)
5. Halloween II

Though as SD said, if we're including a movie like The Shining, that would be my #2. Jaws would also be up there too.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

I'd probably go:
Dawn of the Dead
Poltergeist
Halloween
Scream

Then my 5th would probably be something from the 80's. Also, it depends on what you call a horror flick. For instance, is Jaws considered a 'horror flick'...or are we talking straight slasher/monster/ghost type films. For those types I'd have to consider An American Werewolf in London, Silence of the Lambs, and the Shining.

jaws and silence of the lambs arent horror at all to me...great movies in fact SOL is probably in my top 3 all time but those movies are suspense to me not horror

alien i would say is closer to horror than either of those and i wouldnt even count that....all unbelievably scary movies that i dont count as horror

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

how are they scary for a grown man? like i was scared of movies when i was 10 now when i watch horror movies (which is rare since they suck), im not curled up in my jammies checking for monsters under the bed.

ill tell whats scary, a furlough week or a republican president. thats scary.

Is this the first time I've agreed with IGY in the movie thread?  I think so.

Diomedes

I'd love to see a list of all the movies this douchebag has called top five, top ten, top three, etc.

If 'My Wedding Video' isn't on your top 5 horror movie list then you're obviously a fagola from Iowa.

You don't actually know what these words mean, do you. Maybe you can call him a vegan ballerina carpetbagger next.

The man. The myth. The legend.

Munson

Hah, was literally about say does IGY even know what hipster and emo are.

Somehow I don't see Dio dressing like that, drinking PBR, and listening to Dashboard Confessional.
Then again, a Hipster would never listen to Dashboard or any emo for that matter.

To be fair, the definition of emo has changed over the years.
