Anyone seen a good movie lately?

well im not a fan of superhero movies to begin with...dark knight was awesome but other than that i cant think of one that ive ever really really liked...they generally range from watchable predictable and boring to downright awful

iron man 1 and 2 were watchable

i think you new this going in but this is a nerd board full of comic book geeks

trying to trash iron man and cable boy and magic dude or whatever awful marvel superhero is next in line isnt going to accomplish anything

its chris nolman batman movies and everything else. thats it, thats the list.

You see what MDS did there... he made up fake super hero names when it all actuality he knows the names of superheros like Spiderman, X-Men, Superman, etc. Even if you hate comic book movies there are in pop culture enough to know the names, even if you don't care for them.

I don't try to push comic book movies on non-comic book fans. I enjoy them because I grew up with them. Obviously the Batman franchise are my favorites thus far, but I also like what Marvel Studios is doing with the Avengers. As for X-men/Spiderman, they both started off well and had good sequels, but then just jumped off the deep end in the triologies. Fox Studios really needs to relinguish those movies and let Marvel take care of them.

I agree with IGY for once, Ironman movies are watchable. Nothing more, but mostly less.

i don't know if i reviewed black swan but it's basically natalie portman trying to masturbate for two hours but people keep interrupting her. then she has a hot makeout session with mila kunis, turns into a bird, then dies.

I'm a big fan of Watchmen, but only became aware of it when I heard about the movie being made, so I checked out the graphic novel first. I think it was a good representation of the book, minus the ending.

kings speech - a little too snooty british at times but holy titballs are jeff rush and colin firth out of this world good. also how stupid is the british monarchy? but overall its a kind of boring, somewhat pandering love letter to pointless kings and queens made magnificent by firth and rush. now running neck and neck with facebook jawn for the crown.
